BC club level??!

Worth it? It's only about $50-60 for our family of 5 to upgrade to club level for the last two nights of a split stay at beach club. The first part of trip will be at POR with free dining. At first I just said no, we wouldn't need it but maybe it's a good idea? Especially because we might be "big mealed out" and at least we would have breakfast and drinks the last two mornings. What kind of food is offered during the day?

BC CL is wonderful.

in addition to a continental breakfast, there are afternoon snacks such as cookies, tea, lemonade and homemade chips and dip in the afternoon, hot appetizers (think scallops in bacon or chicken teriyaki) along with wine and beer served between 5 and 7, and from 8-10, there are cordials and more desserts. I wouldn't plan on making a full meal out of any of these, but you certainly could avoid having big, sit-down meals 3x a day with CL food to supplement your appetite.

For only that much more and five people well worth it IMO. We just stayed BC CL in May and we loved it. It was about $80 a day more for us but with 6 people eating breakfast everyday, getting lots of drinks and then apps and snacks it was well worth the added expense.

It's not worth it for saving money on food. the economics don't really work out. The breakfast and snacks don't really amount to being worth $50 - $60 per day. However, it is convenient to just go down the hall for a quick breakfast in the morning before hitting the parks and it is a nice place to relax with a nightcap before heading to bed at the end of the day.

Only you can decide if it is worh it to you, though. We love CL but we don't book it often. Then again, sometimes we stay in luxury with club level and sometimes at the All Star. It all depends upon the type of trip. There are 'quick getaways' and 'I need to be pampered' times. It all depends....

OK didn't notice the family of 5 thing at first. I agree with PP that for 5 it is worth it! Go for it!
