BBB with short hair?

We had originally been thinking of getting DD's first haircut at DLR, and then we realized that there's no barbershop there like at WDW...so that's not happening, clearly DD just turned 3, but her hair is still really short...barely ear length (and very fine textured). Is it worth it to do BBB when the child has short hair? I can't imagine it'll be much longer by our November trip. It's taken 3 years just to grow to where it's at now!

What do the Fairy Godmothers in Training do with hairstyles when the child has such short hair? All I've ever seen pictures of is where the girls have longer hair. Does anyone have any examples of BBB hairstyles with short hair?

My daughter has shorter hair. When we did BBB about 3 years ago the fairy godmothers did manage to get it up in the bun and it looked great. Her hair was probably bob length then and she was 6 1/2. She has very fine hair. They use A LOT of gel! Last October we did Anna & Elsa's Boutique and the stylists suggested the Cool As Ice style because they can just do half up in twists and leave the back down if necessary. It still looked really cute.
