BBB with curly hair??

After reading this post, I decided to go shampoo-less for my DD and myself (both curly, curly hair) AWESOME...so much better. Hair is clean, silky. I also bought some SexyCurlyHair styler and it makes it even better. Kinda pricey even at about $15/tube. Great advice, thanks! So much easier to get through it after she washes it. It was always a screaming match before! The think I don't think they will be able to do with her hair is brush it. I never brush her hair. Brushing curly hair is like trying to clip the toenails on a cat! I wonder if they would just draw it back...lets hope!

Just FYI, I asked about modifying the styles a while back and they will not modify the styles they do or do something different. They don't use a brush unless you bring one, and even them they typically refuse it. They will slick EVERYONE'S hair into a tight bun or high pony, depending on the style, with loads of gel. You basically have to choose one of the 3 in the brochure, and they overload the hiar product to get it smooth without having to use a brush. The explaination I got is they are not certified stylists so they cannot deviate form what they are trained to do. We have been twice, and i don't think we will go agian. The first time I thought they did a good job, but last time it was like they just slicked the hari down as best they could using so much gel it was flaking out in big clumps. I can do much better with my recital kit.

Uh, oh... That doesn't sound like something I want to deal with, flaking gel, especially with her mane of hair. Hmmm...have to think about this further. Thanks.
