BBB Under the Sea Package

I have it booked for DD 5 on 10/28. I can let you know after that. The swimsuit and cover up look adorable. The hair, makeup and nails alone is almost $60, so about $40 for the swimsuit and the cover-up.

Thanks! I like that it's exclusive to the cruise line, she has done the crown package at WDW so I was looking for something different.

We did it in 2013 and have it booked again for our upcoming cruise...I liked it bc she got a cute swimsuit out of it, which actually gets used FAR more frequently than a dress-up dress by our daughter! She always gets compliments on her swimsuit and loves saying that its her mermaid suit from the Disney Cruise. She also loved the jewelry & hair piece that came with the package & we had a lot of fun with the sunscreen. She has also done BBB Crown Pkg at WDW, and when I asked her which package she preferred to do onboard (princess or mermaid), she said mermaid (Under the Sea). She's now 6, was 4 at last sailing.

My two DDs did this in 2013. I didn't feel like it was worth the cost. They were in and out of the chair in 10 minutes. Nail polish was sloppy and hair didn't even last til dinner. I probably should have said something at the time but didn't. I am contemplating doing the pirate makeover for my youngest next year but am worried the same thing will happen.

Thanks! It sounds great, I think we are going to go ahead and book it for her :)

That's a shame, I hope if you do pirates league you get a better experience!

We did this for my daughter in 2012. She liked the makeover, but found the swimsuit to be itchy and didn't wear it more than a couple times. You can get the mermaid package off the ship at the Pirates league in WDW. I thought the WDW version was better and it was cheaper.

Thinking about doing this for DD 4 on our cruise in Jan. Has anyone done this one? Is it worth the 100?

Did you get the Under the Sea package? I am looking for opinions / pictures. I'm debating between this one and the Celebration package on the Dream for my daughter who will turn 6 in May.

We actually switched up and she did an Elsa dress with the Disney Diva hair, after I thought about it She was going to the kids club afterward and I didn't want her in there in the bathing suit so I let her choose a dress. It was the highlight of the cruise for her. I posted up the menu for BBB on my TR if your interested. And if you have any other questions please let me know. :)

Thanks! Funny, I must have been reading your trip report right before you posted the menu. Haha!

Now I'm leaning towards Under the Sea. I don't think the Celebration tutu outfit looks very cute (at least in that picture it doesn't). I love the look of the mermaid suit. So all of the packages mention a hairstyle except for the mermaid one. Do you happen to know if hair is excluded from the Under the Sea package? Or does the hair clip mean that they do a little something and stick it in there for you? I think the hair and glitter would be her favorite part.

The hair for the under sea package is a twist in the front of the hair to behind the ear where they attach the clip. There is glitter applied, but it is not the bun that you get with the other packages.

My daughter wanted to do this in Oct, but was between sizes of the swimsuit (the one size the bottoms fit, but top was too small and the larger size the bottoms were falling off her), so we went went the hair, makeup, and nail package. She didn't really care for the swimsuit and said it was itchy. Either way, she had a ball getting everything else done, and they were very flexible with changes at the time of appointment.
