BBB to Perfectly Princess Tea

I just made an appointment at 9am for my 5 year old at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. We'll go with the basic package, as we have to be at the Grand Floridian at 10:15 for the Perfectly Princess Tea, which starts at 10:30. Assuming we're done with her hairdo by 9:30/9:45, can we rely on busses to get us to the tea at the Grand Floridian on time, or should I just plan to get a cab? And is it easy to find a cab in Downtown Disney?

I would definitely take a cab - the trip for DD to GF is long even if you catch a bus right off - and in the mornings buses are not leaving from DD with as much regualarity as later in the day.

Also when we did the Princess Tea we got there a little after ten and kids were all ready arriving - I believe they started checking us in about 10:15 or so...and you really don't want to be late as the opening ceremony is really special and fun. I have had it take me over an hour and half to get back to the Poly from DD...with the bus making a water park stop and another hotel stop first.

The cab would be far less stressful!

I second the idea on the cab.

Also, is the BBB the earliest of the day? If not, there may be delays due to earlier appointments. If it is the earliest, I'd be there at least 15 minutes early.

IMHO, you are cutting it close and out of the two experiences, I'd say the Princess Tea is by far the one that's most unique and special. When I did this with my daughter in June, we took a cab and arrived at the GF at ten. Remember, you have to walk in and get to the far end of the lobby to check in. It's nice to be at a relaxed pace and enjoy the atmosphere of the Grand Floridian.

Just a thought, for a special do, the GF has a salon. I don't know if the MK barbershop can do a special princess do for tea day. Then schedule another time for BBB so that you can fully enjoy that experience as well.
