BBB questions

My dd11 wants to do this so badly. I went ahead and booked a time at the MK and Im looking at the Coach or Crown package. The CM said one was hair and makeup, the other hair, makeup and nails. Can anyone give me the specifics of what exactly is done and and what we should expect to leave with (hair accessories, make up, banner, etc.) I know we have to bring a brush. Also, for the fingernails- my dd bites hers and I have asked her to try hard and let them grow for the trip. If we go with the nail package and she hasnt let them grow, do the fake ones stay on? Just wondering if the nail package would be worth it for her. Any info on this would be appreciated. I dont know much about it.

We did the castle package so the whole kit and kaboodle, but I think what they keep is the same.
We recieved the make up pallette with the little combo lip and eye shadow brush along with 2 bottles of nail polish, light pink and light blue.
I don't think the nail biting is too much of an issue because the polish is very light. In that same regard, the nail polish is very light so I don't know if it's really worth it or not. My daughter loves getting her nails done so for us it was.
She also received the pink banner and a little pink gift bag to put everything in.

Do you get a little crown or mickey pin for the hair with either of these packages? Sees like I have seen pictures of this. Maybe it is a separate cost? What about photo pass? Is there a photographer there or are pictures a separate cost again? Thanks

You do get the Mickey hair clip ~ but I am not sure if that is dependent upon which hairstyle she chooses.

Don't forget you also get the photo session. We had prepaid our photopass so we got the photo session on our CD. Awesome!! Well worth the money for BBB.

BBB is the princess makeover (but guys can get some pirate makeover too - far fewer guys than girls do it). There are two locations (DTD and MK). Little girls (or older if they want it) have several options for hair styling, makeup, nails, dresses, accessories (option packages). Reservations required.

They are the same ~ there are just two locations. In the Castle and DTD.

My dds did the princess bun style and got: the crown, the mickey barret, the make up palet, the sash, some jewel stickers (one they used on their face and rest they kept).

One dd chose the fake nails and she got a spare set, but she found them annoying and took them off within an hour.

Other dd chose to have her nails painted. She was only 5 so her nails were pretty short and they looked fine. She got two bottles of nail polish.

They had lots of fun and really enjoyed the experience.

I did the whole package for my daughter.

She did the princess hairstyle, so she got a small crown with the ponytail extention.

they gave us a small makeup kit, dress, shoes, wand and sash. Then we went over for pictures. I got a 8x10 picutre of the one I liked best and the rest was on a photocard that I could look at when I got home.

It was amazing. My daughter still talks about it.

Yes, just give the card to the photographer. Or, if you don't have one yet, the photographer can give you one.

Yes, it depends on the style. the Mickey barrette is but in the back on the "fairy-tale princess" style. In the "disney diva" style, you keep the Mickey bobby pins and the hair extension. In the "pop princess" style, you get the hair extension and Mickey clips.

The photopass session is awesome! It used to be in exposition hall, is it still there with the construction going on?

I forgot about the mickey hair clip and the little crown. I'm not sure if you get different ones depending upon the hairstyle.
There is a photopass photographer in the "salon". If you do the castle package it comes with professional portraits after the make over. You go right across from the castle...Castle Corture or something like that. They take probably 20 photo's and then you choose 3 for your package. They then give you the photopass card and you can see the others online.

For us this past November, the "cinderella style" bun came with the silver tiara and a mickey barrette.
