BBB Question About Dresses

Hoping for some advice--I'll be taking my daughter to BBB (MK) on Halloween. I know a lot of folks suggest buying a dress at the Disney Store and bringing it with you to save money. I would be happy to do this, but here's my question -- are all of the costumes displayed in BBB so the kids can see them all? My idea is to bring a dress and lay it out in the hotel room and tell her Mickey or whichever princess left it for her...but I'm just thinking that if she sees all of the dresses in BBB, she'll really want one of those, and I shouldn't bother with buying/bringing one with us. Just wondering how the dresses are displayed/presented to the kids. TIA!

They are. If you were to walk in and look to the right all of the dresses and accessories are on display.

Thanks. That's what I assumed. I just don't want to spend the money on one from home when she'll go in and see all of these dresses to pick from. And I can't blame her--I'm sure they make them pretty hard to resist ;)

How old is she? My DD has gone twice and has never realized buying a dress there is an option. We just put her dress on and sit in the waiting area until a FGIT comes to get her. There's a huge spike in price, so it's worth it to bring a dress for sure.

We do the same thing. I don't think my daughter even noticed. She was in her dress before we went inside and they whisked her away quick enough that it didnt matter to her that there were dresses on display (they are also on display in a lot of the shops, so its not odd to see)

Agree with this, my DD never saw them and I even didn't notice until we left that they were there. She got whisked away so quickly! We arrived at MK in the dress she brought from home (she has many, was told to choose which one she'd want to wear for "Halloween" (MNSSHP), she knew about BBB so she got to decide who she wanted to be made up to be. She chose to be Belle. This September she's going as Cinderella.

This is all great information! Thank you! So it sounds like bringing a dress from home is the way to go. Appreciate all of your replies! :)
