BBB - how strict on age?

And how many people with 3 year olds claim they are 2 year olds to get in free...

Lighten up people. It's mere months, not years.

Right! And before someone accuses me of doing it I chose to wait until my daughter was 5 before bringing her. So don't even try it :)

Yep, and mine were seven and nine. We were just glad to get the child prices!

(But, I wouldn't have tried it even if we'd come when they were younger - my kids were huge for their age. I had a hard enough time convincing people they were two, when they actually were two.)

I know. I am trying to get at least 2 more trips in before she's 10. She's really tall, so it definitely wouldn't work to try and scam it!

The real reason for the age cutoff might be the size of the costumes. They might not carry the larger sizes any more, or a very limited selection.

WE didn't make the rules/age restrictions. Just answering the question. How strict are they? STRICT. If they are told the child's age is not in the acceptable range regardless of how "only off by weeks/months" it is, they will not allow the child to participate.

If I may quote Lady Tremaine..."Is said...IF."

Many of the products they use are labelled for 3 and up. Now, while lots of things are labelled that way as a default, I suspect some of it relates there on the low end.

On the high end, I think it's just market research and also wanting to push the older kids who can take it to salon options with full-blown salon services.

The OP has received the answer to her posed question as well as the suggestion of GF. Now that the thread has veered off-topic to park entrance age guidelines, closing.

I think the OP's question has been answered. They are strict. There is Ivy Trellis at the Grand Floridian as an alternative for older girls.
