It does look like her birthday was the final day of the cruise since at the beginning of the "birthday" video they were talking about packing up on the way back to Barcelona - so they might have just snuck her in under the wire. Unless they did a B2B...

I watched the first minute or two and immediately skipped to the BBB part - tbh I left it playing in the background and just listened to after a few min, b/c the video wasn't exactly capturing my interest. I must not be the target audience. If that's the typical youtube video my 12yo finds to watch, though - I'm pretty ok with that!

I didn't really start any attempts to investigate the background for the video until after I posted here, after no one popped in to say "oh yeah, they let 13yo's in fairly regularly when they're slow" or some such thing. And now I have inadvertently caused that channel's view count to spike!!!

Yea I'm not sure what the target audience would be. Maybe you should be a good mom and start your own video adventures so she can have her BBB experience without question. we could probably get you a few subscribers from here.

I was going to say it had to do with costume sizes too. I think my daughter was still 12 when she went, but I can't remember. She is tall for her age and the outfit was really too tight. It was the largest size they carried so she tried to make it work. She gave up about an hour after we left.

Apparently I should re-think my opposition to selling out my family's privacy and strive for youtube fame! (No offense intended toward anyone reading this who may be one of those people... my family is comprised of introverts and I'm not even allowed to post a photo of DD on my strictly private facebook page without her permission. And Lord knows no one wants to watch me on a video!) Or I need to find one of these

Haha!! My son is the WORST about taking photos; boys have a knack with that special scowl. Nothing makes him angrier than Mom trying to get her money's worth out of Photopass.

Hilariously, DD has now reversed her position on internet privacy if it means she gets plussed-up Disney cruises and ABD trips. Priorities, priorities.

Do you ever use all these Disney acronyms on family members who act like you're making them up? It's like a second language at this point, really! The first time I referred to a CM, my husband said "huh? What's a CM?" I should have clarified the ABD bit on the DCL board, though! sorry about that!
