BBB Dress Question - Hey Mommas! Please advise!

I bought the dress from Etsy too.

And a fun cape. Sheer with snowflakes.

The crushed velvet look of the other dress was making me nervous.

What's $62 more dollars at this point. Ha.

Maybe I'm nuts but I like the ETSY dresses better than any traditional costume dress. That goes for most all Princesses, not just Ana and Elsa. I like having something that's a little different rather than what you see on half the kids in the parks.

Yes, this is why I prefer to sew my daughters dresses & costumes :thumbsup2 But sometimes I will order her one if the price is right (did that this year when we got Anna & Elsa for about $50 total, I couldn't have sewed it for that price)

I love the etsy dresses myself so adorable and unique ... Also many great children's boutique designers on Facebook.. Just search boutique children's clothing or custom children's clothing and I'm sure there are some incredible designs : )

The Ali express website is weird... I just posted that link because it had a photo of the dress. But it's on other sites too. Do a google search.

I'm obsessed with the $75 etsy dress. But we are going in December so there's a 50/50 chance it'll be too cool. You just never know! It could be 80 degrees!

There are less expensive dresses on ETSY. Well, depends on the size. $75 is about right for bigger sizes but there are some closer to $50. I know of one designer that does a short set that is very cute. Let me know if anyone wants a link.

It's so much easier to add a layer to keep warm than it is to remove something. I suggest bringing a long sleeve T with you, and a short sleeve for that matter. You could add a top under one of those dresses easily.

Back in my DD's day I would have sewn her stuff. I did sew some things for DGD's 1st trip. The place I fall short is applique. Instead of costumes I've been going with applique dresses instead. I got DGD a darling number with both Ana and Elsa on it, so lovely. Can't wait to put it on her. It's a surprise trip so she hasn't seen it

Yeah, but the dress won't look the same with a long sleeve tshirt underneath. We already have an Elsa costume, so if it's cold she'll wear that. I'd buy the etsy dress if we were going in warm weather though.

Just wanted to post real quick and let ya'll know that I've bought from Ali Express before (not a dress but a cupcake stand kit) and they are reliable, they're fast (even with the free or $3 shipping) and they will respond to emails about the product!

I can understand being a little skeptical about their website but they're a good merchant.

pls send me the link to the short set!

That dress is indeed very cute and looks alot more 'cooler' than the Disney Elsa dress my daughter is hell bent on wearing when we're there the first week of September.

My daughter who was 7 at the time wore a hot and scratchy (in my opinion) Rapunzel dress from her BBB experience for a whole hot day in May. Not one complaint, which absolutely surprised me. She loved being dressed up like her favourite princess more than anything and all the attention she got from it.
