BBB/CRT Question

We have an ADR for BBB first thing in the morning and CRT following on New Year's Day. We are doing the middle package (can't remember what it's called- hair and nails) and I was not planning on the girls wearing a princess gown, but I don't want them to feel out of place if they're the only ones who are not in gowns. I was planning on them wearing some type of princess apparel (custom or from Disney store) but I didn't think they would want to walk around the park all day in gowns. We are staying at CSR, but I'm afraid it will be so busy on NYD that if we leave the park we may not get back in (but maybe it's not that busy??). I know we took a one-day trip to MK 1.5 yrs. ago and I thought DDs HAD to have custom outfit to wear and they were the only ones I saw all day in anything custom, SO my question is, will they be the only ones not in gowns or will they fit in without them. FTR DDs will be almost 9 and almost 6 when we go.
Thanks!!!

If you click the link in my thread there is a lot of great info there. Being that you will be there during new years yes it will be very very crowded rent a locker if you do a costume and let them change close when they want to.

We went to CRT on our last trip for breakfast. DD was dressed as Snow White. There was only 3-4 girls in the whole place dressed up that day. I think it's usually about half and half so your girls will definately not feel "left out" if they don't have a gown on. But that it also up to your girls' personalities. DD would feel left out if she saw 1 girl dressed up! Case in point, she was completely dressed up but hadn't gone to BBB. She saw another girl dressed up who HAD gone to BBB and was (albeight momentarily) upset that she didn't have her hair and nails done too! Oh well. We'll save that for the next trip I guess.

As far as changing, I had assumed that DD would want to get that big gown off as soon as she was done eating...NOPE. She wanted to wear it all day (and did until she was had to force her to take it off because she was so hot and was turning bright red!)

We just did BBB at MK and it seemed like all the girls were dressed up. I had my daughter dressed as Cinderella and she stayed in the dress all day, although she doesn't usually. We ate at CRT afterwards and saw a lot of girls dressed up.

This last trip, I taped all the seams in her costumes with some fabric medical tape. It seemed to alleviate any itchiness issues.
