I was looking on line and it said for between the ages of 3 and 12. Now this is my neice's first trip (19) and we thought she would love to get her hair done with our girls. I know a couple of years ago when our girls had gone their was a couple of older ladies having their hair done. I'm wasn't sure if this was a new policy or just suggestion?

I really don't know the answer, but I can't see them turning her down for hair & make-up, after all it is Disney :). I think she'd love it and it would be such a great memory!

Not a suggestion, WDW new policy.

Have you considered the Barber shop? They do glitter paint in the hair(and is a lot cheaper than BBB) and no age restriction.

When I made reservations for DD they asked her age, they always do, but I wondered if it was becuase they say no one over 12 now.
Just throwing this out there in case it doesnt work out at BBB.. but DD got her hair wrapped at AK. She got beads and picked colored thread. It looked absolutely gorgeous! It was $40 and she was able to take it home with her and it lasted like 3 weeks in her hair.

Thanks everyone for the answers. Maybe we should all go get eyepatches:rotfl:.

Well that sucks. BBB didn't even exist (or I wasn't aware of it)when I was within the age limit and I actually considering doing it on my birthday in September to DLR.

Think about it--Disney wants you to get your little one in there, and then end up buying a dress, and shoes, and a wand, and a tiara----and on and on. That won't happen if an adult is the one getting their makeup and hair done.

Makes perfect sense from a business standpoint.

Also they know they can fill the slots with this age group leaving the out of age limit to proceed to the Pirate Leaguepirate:.
