More questions -- does expressing interest here mean you have a spot, or do we need to stalk on Monday?

I like Michelle's idea. I would order on-line, so I guess that would be easy. I'd like to shop my stash but I only have one color I am certain of -- Limeade. And I need it for another project.

Expressing interest means you have the right of first refusal. I have everyone's names down that have posted on this thread and I am in the process of adding those to my word document now.

Are you in? If I end up doing this. It's getting a bit crazy! I may need to rethink it all and get back to you later.

The only thing if you put them in groups of 18 is I would like different colors together, like not all shades of pink because I would order online and would need to be able to tell the colors apart. If you need help with this, I could group the colors.

You are giving me a headache with all this math and God bless you for trying to figure out this set-up.

I'm wondering would it be the end of the world just to assign colors? If someone had trouble finding a particular one, they could always ask to trade (or send someone with access to more of them the $ for one sheet.) You'd have to try to distribute the Bling amongst the group to be fair, but that might just be the easiest way to do it. Just a thought.

I know that it would be more work on someone (BAMB but I would help) to just assign colors. We could then trade if someone does not have a specific color. If we did it this way, sign-ups could be monday to Wednesday and then send colors out by the weekend. Just an idea.

Maybe people could post a texture preference or something, especially if they want to buy locally. When I was in AZ, I could get anything, but the stores up here seem to carry primarily the original or Criss Cross, so if I were participating and got assigned a Washboard color, it would be more difficult.

Why don't ya'll do some LSS research, pick a store that I posted for online shopping and we can revisit this on Monday. I will postpone sign ups til next week. I will not be here most of the day tomorrow. I have an extra kid all day.

No cruise this year , but next year just me and dh will be crusing ... my oldest, Kayla, will be 20 (dear god!) she'll be able to watch the younger three. We'll be married 21 years TOMORROW!! I must have gotten married at 8 years old because I'm only 29!! heehee!!

Anyway, we'll be in WDW 8/27 to 9/6!! DARN!! We'll just miss you!!! Why didn't you go for FREE DINING?!? This is our 4th year taking advantage of it!! Can't beat it! Where are you staying? Don't tell me offsite!

I feel bad for the LSS owner ... I went into the store this weekend to get black and white bazzill ... she didn't have any and said if I could get it somewhere else do it because she's closing 7/26 and won't be reordering!!! Said she could sit in the store for days and not see a sole!! On the upside everything is 35% off! ... I SAVED $20+!!! heehee!!

Buffy - I'm camping in Amish country at a lovely place with a water park/playground so chances are I won't be online much during the day. Not to mention I'm working off a dog slow cell phone connection to the 'puter. I'm not sure where this ended up on choices but if you could please sign me up and I don't care what colors as long as I can find them all in one place to order them (I might be able to do it at LSS).

My preference for least waste of paper would be to do rectangles so we use all the paper. I have a crappy corner rounder so if we are going to round maybe someone can suggest a better one Good excuse to get it.

Back to reading the rest so if I post a little ADD-like tonight that's why!

We're scrapping at the Yacht Club. I tried to con DH into flying down to do free dining but with 4 kids, alone? Yeah, that would be a big ol' no!

We did do offsite last Dec, free points at Marriott, NEVER AGAIN!!!!

21 years?! Awesome!! We just celebrated 15, I can't believe it! and my oldest just turned 12. Where does the time go?

I have you on the list already. We are doing 2x3 rectangles, no corners, no holes. Everyone can do that when they get them back. I can do your corners for you if need be, I have a pretty good rounder.

Go enjoy the Amish Countryside. If it weren't for the computer, I would move there in a heartbeat.

I have a scrappy buddy that has that swatch book with the 1x1 swatches. The pieces are so small that they are really hard to use for matching. They are also attached weird so I found it hard to use.

I did the cost breakdown for my LSS. Bazzill is 60 cents a sheet, Bling is 65 cents. If I buy 18 sheets, cost is $15.60. I can ship regular mail to BAMB for $2.50 and then it will cost $8.60 back for Flat Rate. That is a total of $26.70 for the whole swatch book. Not bad.

Instead of assigning colors, should we just list the ones we want to provide. We'll add the list, then everyone can order/buy their colors. I think that would be easier on everyone so that those who want to use stash can, those who have an LSS can go there and others can order online as needed.

Not to complicate it but maybe the first day of signups we could all say if there are specific colors we have in our stash to sign up for then have someone just assign the rest? That may be worse huh? Just a thought.

If the colors are not assigned, it will be a real headache for the hostess to keep scrolling through that list and adding 24 names, 18 times. Just physically doing that, let alone checking for repeats and notifying about repeats would be quite a job.

I'm good with any way BAMB wants to organize this. I will be ordering online, so a deadline of next weekend is a no go for me, I'll be away all week (someone said that on one of the posts)...
