Bazzill tag swap bumping for new questions pg 2 #25

I was thinking the same thing it might get confusing trying to pick colors. Would it be better to just list 18 colors and you pick that group, but then you do come up with the problem like AWM said if she is buying hers local. I will be ordering mine online. Also, I did this kind of swap a few years ago, and we printed the color and texture on address labels and stuck them to the non textured side. It would make them look better, just my opinion. :)

don't confuzzle me anymore!!! :rotfl2: You might want to scout out your LSS this weekend and get a list of more than 18 so you'll have back ups.

The colors are listed in the other thread, by texture. Including the monochromatic colors, let's just hope they are up to date. LOL

If you over sleep you're either SOL orrrrrr you'll get up at the same time as me! LOL

The sky is not blue, it's Evening Surf............

you're asking me to print address labels??? I have yet to master this!

But thanks for the reminder, I need to go add that fact to my sign ups.

This makes sense to me. It would look neater and there would be no bleed through from pens.

I think I would like to do this.

I have a question -- are you sure $40 is cheaper than just buying a swatch book? Of course, it is not as fun. I tried to do a search but I kept finding only the $3.99 supplements. I found a 477 piece swatch book on amazon for$25.99 and overstock.com $36.99 but I am not certain that it is current.

I am concerned about signups too. I can see this happening -- I check the thread, place my order, come back to the thread and my choices are taken and my order already placed. Assigning colors doesn't seem to be a good idea either. Maybe I am thinking about this too much. Anyone know a site that has all of the colors?

I'm trying to decide. I use very little Bazill paper. HL only carries the bling in packs and all the lss shops have closed and the closest to me is 30 minutes and she does not carry it. Where do you order it and can you just order a few of each color? I hate online ordering, but I guess I'll have to learn to love it!

I found these sites through anther Bazzill swap:, I can not vouch for them though but it looked like the other swap used one of these 3 sites:

These guys are having a sale. I have not used them but have heard great things about them.

found this one too:

But...

what if every swapper who ever swapped wants in on this and there are more than 24 people?

If you have 36 people, you could 12 colors per person for the same number of tags. You would need 2 sheets of each color - - so 24 sheets of paper instead of 18 sheets.

--It looks like you can get the 2x3 on the ring for about $9.99, but that is for each texture/group. How many are there? x$10.00

I found this for $36.99 on line though...

This swatchbook includes all classic, textured, bling, and metallic cardstocks from Bazzill as of June 2008. This book does not require any updates (at this time). As new colors are released from Bazzill in the future - those will be the only updates that you will need.
All colors are shown on a 2 page spread per color family - turn to the red/pinks pages to see all the red and pink cardstocks and find the perfect match for your papers immediately.

The following colors are contained in this book:
All classic bazzill colors (these include the smooths and non-branded colors)
All monochromatic colors
Doodlebug (criss cross texture)
KI Memories (orange peel texture)
Scrapworks (washboard texture)
All color wheel colors (monochromatic lines) (canvas texture)
all Bazzill FourZ (grasscloth texture)
Bazzill Burlap texture cardstocks (introduced in November 2006)
Bazzill Smoothies
Bazzill Bling
Metallic Bazzill

***Please note that recently discontinued colors are not in this book: Corduroy Texture (chatterbox line), Weave Texture (Places We Love collection), and many of the colors from the AMM - Raw Silk texture line. ***

What is NOT in this book - vellums, mulberry colors. We have also removed the colors that were discontinued from the Bazzill line.

This is not a swatch ring. This is a spiral coil bound book packed with swatches of Bazzill cardstock from Bazzill Basics Paper.
We've trimmed out over 700 individual swatches and adhered them into this awesome book.
The swatch book is a scrapsupply exclusive and was created with Bazzill Basics Paper's permission. We are not affiliated with Bazzill Basics Paper in any way, other than a retailer of their products.
Each swatch is just under 1x1 and is neatly labeled and placed in an organized manner according to it's color and collection within that color group. Further additions to the Bazzill swatch book are easy to make. The coils simply twist out of the holes - and then you are free to add your new swatch pages prior to re-coiling the book.

I have ordered from rocky mountain and acherryontop and they are both great. :)

I'm interested. I think it might be easier just to have everyone pick a preselected group of colors. I can imagine signups being a nightmare with everyone trying to pick individual colors (especially if there's 500!). I'm sure if someone had trouble finding one of their colors there's somebody who would be able to help out.

The swatch cube, which is the first 4 books, was made in 2005, so it is pretty out of date (which is why I have to update mine).

Ann, if these are the monochromatic packs you have, if you click through on the pic, it will bring up the names. But I think Bazzill made these awhile ago, and so colors in the packs may not all be current (or they might have changed textures), so you would have to check the list.

I can go down the list and put them in blocks of 18, but that might be hard to do.

I need to go think about this more, my head hurts.

More questions -- does expressing interest here mean you have a spot, or do we need to stalk on Monday?

I like Michelle's idea. I would order on-line, so I guess that would be easy. I'd like to shop my stash but I only have one color I am certain of -- Limeade. And I need it for another project.

The only thing if you put them in groups of 18 is I would like different colors together, like not all shades of pink because I would order online and would need to be able to tell the colors apart. If you need help with this, I could group the colors. :)
