So this has probably asked a thousand times, but I will ask anyway. When I use my cricut Expression to cut out images. It cuts fine except for thicker cardstock like Bazzill. I always have to use multi-cut. Even when I set my blade at 6, pressure max, and speed high.

Any tips or is this the norm?

Thanks.

Thanks. Just want to make sure I wasn't missing something. I did just repalce it this past weekend. I works a little better but still need multi-cut with the thicker paper. :confused3 How long is a blade suppose to last anyway? Mine lasted about 3 months with pretty good use.

thanks again!

I just find that it's a much better cut when I use multi-cut. I'm actually using a Pink E that I got the end of August and I've always used the multi-cut on Bazzill.

I do not have to use multi cut for Bazzill. Have you tried slowing down the speed? Have you checked that your blade housing is installed properly? I have found that it can make a difference if it isn't lined up right.

Overall, I am just not happy with Bazzill and the cricut together - -some textures work better than others.

I like the way American Crafts textured paper cuts.

The blades don't last anywhere near as long as 3 months for me. I love textured paper, but it chews up the blades so easily.

I use the blade set at 4, pressure and speed 5, and multicut, if I have to use Bazill. For Cricutting, I really prefer American Crafts cardstock or the cardstock from mousememories that they're discontinuing because Bazill bought them, but I can't remember the brand. Prism?

Thanks again everyone. Funny, I used to love Bazzill so I have alot of it, but since I have such a hard time cutting it, I now prefer other brands. I find myself time after time reaching for the Oh my Crafts cardstock or the American Crafts paper as well.

Fine with me as it is less expensive.
