Bazzill only swaps?

there seem to be a lot of inside jokes around here that I just do not understand... I have read through a ton of old posts and they do not enlighten me to them.
Forgive me for my ignorance but could someone please explain?

There are a lot of inside jokes here on the DIS. Can you say "Community Board"?

Seriously there are many of us who have been around for SEVERAL years. We've gotten to know each other well and we're just like any other group of friends. Don't worry about being ignorant. You'll catch on soon.

OMG! How paranoid, I was not making any "Inside" jokes, I just like to post smilies to bump or to reply to the thread, I didn't know that it was big deal, and yes I go to the CM all the time, (exchange threads) and we do the same with the smilies, to keep the thread up or just for fun. Trust me if I had any jokes I would share them with all of you, or if I had something else to say I would too.

I like bazzill swaps for pretty much the same reasons mentioned. Easy to match, i've never had a problem with fading (and neither does my LSS that has carried bazzill for years in both of thier locations, other CS's we have had MAJOR problems with), and get more usuable items. If I get an item that I can't match to anything else, then often times I will not use it and it just sits in my swap piles.

I'm very interested reading about everyones different takes on the idea of rules/ no rules. I think it goes to show there is a lot of variety in scrapbooking now and I think thats great. I am happy to do this one with strict rules because to my mind you are almost getting a page kit back, and I plan (though my plans rarely come to fruition) to use all the elements on the one layout, and if I was scrapbooking on my own I would not use 2 similar but different reds say on one page. I am also happy because Bazzil is widely available online in the UK, unfortunately though I have a fairly substantial stash at home, I don't what the colours are called, so I will have to order a fresh bash.
