Thanks for the shout out Kev, big bang is great....but I'm 100 percent with you on the office. I just don't get it. I didn't enjoy the movie and tried to watch the show and don't find it amusing.

Also, I just heard Teresa was easy.....I'll need her direct cell number

I The Office! I think I like it though because I can relate to it. I've worked for a man like Michael and it just cracks me up...

Office Space is one of Matthew's favorite movies...not sure if that's the one that you are referring to or not...I couldn't get into the movie either, but there are some good lines in it...and who could forget the red stapler?

I haven't really watched Big Bang Theory, but I need to. Everyone seems to love that show!

I love the Office and BBT. I am also becoming a pretty big fan of Modern Family (new this season). I love how it is done. "Red headed daddy is angry daddy." Loved that line.

The movie Office Space and the show The Office are not related. The movie is one of the funniest things ever. The real Office (with Ricky Gervais) is hilarious. The American version started pretty good but Michael Scott went from a half wit to a completely unbelievable character with the mental acuity of a 3rd grader.

If I didn't think the term jumped the shark has jumped the shark I would say the American Office has jumped the shark.

I really enjoyed Office Space but I have to admit I don't really get The Office. I watch it sometimes, but it hasn't completely caught my attention.

I have the red stapler. They sold them at Costco in a bonus pack. When my DH saw it we were so excited I thought they were going to call the police.

I love BBT, but I have at admit I think the Penny/Leonard thing is getting old quickly.

More important, I really enjoy How I Met Your Mother also. Barney is freak'en hilarious. But I agree with the penny/Lenard thing, the same goes for the Barney/Robin thing.

Agreed on both accounts, really takes away from the dynamics of some of the characters and relationships. Still gonna watch though, just sayin'.

You can continue to say it. The thing with anything that has jumped the shark is they go on a while after jumping said shark. If they stopped when they jumped the shark it would be called going out on top.

As for the phrase I prefer the replacement...blew up the fridge.

I love The Office... I think it's one of those shows you have to watch from the beginning, otherwise you didn't get it. I certainly didn't see what the big deal was until I went back and watched it from the beginning. Now it's one of my favorite shows. The same goes for Arrested Development, which Pete mentioned, and is my favorite TV show of all time. It's hilarious - but you have to watch the whole thing. Otherwise you just won't understand everything.

I loved AD. I think the humor was just over a lot of people's head. It was subtle and you had to really pay attention and know the story line to get a lot of it. I found it a lot like British comedy in that way.

I love BBT too! I agree Leonard is just annoying...anytime he is on the screen he is just so whiny! I think it should be the Sheldon show and it would be awesome!

I love Modern Family! I think, it might just be my new favorite! I still have to make Jason watch it. I loved the Costco episode!

Oh and Glee is wonderful too! I watch too much TV...no wonder I barely have time to post.

My boyfriend shanghaied me into watching The Office, every episode from the beginning, and I didn't start to like it until about halfway through season 4.

I can honestly say though that the show wouldn't be worth watching without Dwight.
