Bay View or Deluxe with Pool View

Right now we have a Bay View room. I requested that view because we really would love to get a balcony (and I understand bay view rooms are more likely to have balconies) and I thought the bay view would be great. However, now I am thinking that maybe we would be better off with the bigger room since we will be staying a while (10 nights). I understand that the deluxes have Beach Pool views.

Am I better off with the balcony and the bay view, or the bigger room and the pool view? The West Wing looks like a good location since it is close to the Beach Pool and the docks. What do you think? Anyone know the pros and cons of each? Thanks a ton for the info.

Only some of the deluxes have beach pool views. Most have views of the villa pool. I would say go with bay/balcony. Most of the sq ft difference is in the deluxe bathroom, not much in the living space. 463 sq ft as opposed to 490 sq ft. Don't get me wrong, the deluxe bathrooms are awesome! If you end up with a bay view balcony you will most likely be in the east wing as most are located there but you want west wing. The balconies in the west wing are mostly parlors and connecting deluxes. Lots to think about. Ask away if you need more info.

We stayed in a bay view in the east wing and the view was awesome. We stayed in a deluxe on the end of the villa wing and the view wasn't. If view is important go with bay view over the villa wing.

Very few deluxes have beach pool views. Most are villa pool. We have had both and the bay view really is beautiful. Would be ideal for a bayview with a balcony IMO.
