:duck:Hi all. I don't think I've already asked this question. We leave a week from Saturday for a week stay at BLT in a Studio Lake View. I was thinking of faxing in a room request but I don't know what to ask for. Does anyone have any suggestions? It would be much appreciated. This will be my last trip for a long while and I'll also be celebrating my 50th birthday so I'm striving for perfection. This will also be my first time at a monorail resort. Thank you everyone!

You generally hear High floor
The bridge to Contemporary is on the 4th floor (makes a faster, no elevator walk to the monorail. BLT hallways aren’t that long, so there’s no risk of being tons farther from transportation from any room)
There are lake views next to MK views, and ones facing towards GF.
Many others love the more peaceful Bay Lake side.

There are threads that used to have pictures from most rooms but Photobucket ruined most of those.

DVC resorts do not accept faxed requests. Just add it to your reservation.

As for perfection, you might not have it at BLT. The studios are really tight inside. Unless it's just you or you and one guest.

We will have two teenage girls with us so I guess we'll be tight for a week but that's ok. We'll be at Disney so all will be well

Where do I add it to my reservation? In MDE, the only thing I can request is a lower floor or near an elevator.

You call wherever you made your reservation. If it was a DVC reservation, call MS. If it was a cash reservation, call Disney Reservation Center.

You might want to limit the girls to one small bag each. You don't have a lot of room to store luggage and clothing.

I rented points through David’s. I think at the time I may have asked for an upper floor but I’m sure we’ll be happy with whatever room they give us.

You would need the member you rented from to make any requests for you.
