I’d request north end, even numbered room. Those potentially have lake view to the right and MK view to the left.

Even is the way to go for them as they should have the stools at the island.

The even numbered, outer ring, are slightly larger. Note those units have stools at the counter in the kitchen area, when the odd numbered, inner ring, do not have enough space for them. The laundry area in the even units are small closet type, where the odd units have a laundry room. I think the sq footage, there can't be more than 10-15 feet difference, but in the living area it is noticeable.

Hi all, we have 5 nights booked at BLT mid April.

From what I have read they are doing the full refurb in 4 sections with it seems first section taking 3 months (Oct-Dec) and by the time we go the 2nd section will be done.

Again, it seems top level of south tower has been completed and right now they are starting the lower of the south tower (and central??) whilst closing the sky bridge!

We have a LV room booked and I have requested high floor and near sky bridge, and if requests are granted I guess there is high likelihood this would be in a refurbed room?

Is there anything else we can do closer to the time and also do we think that the sky bridge will be open by mid April barring any delays…

LOVE that mirror. Sad no design or flair seemed to make it to the other mirrors in the units. I like the mid-century modern style of everything (including the "regular" mirrors). Definitely think this is a nice upgrade for the units,

Does anyone know if they’re providing travel size toiletries like shampoo and hand lotion in the studios? I’ve believe I’ve seen them in the larger units but haven’t noticed any in pictures of the studios. Thanks!

they have pumps in the shower for shampoo, conditioner , and body wash. The lotion is a travel sized tube.

I was there for 2 nights (Jan 1st and Jan 2nd) in a newly renovated 1 bedroom (#7934) and there were pumps in both the large and small bathroom. They did leave travel sized shampoo, soap and lotion on the tube in the large bathroom.

Any of the 2BD Resort view refurb rooms open yet? I think there is a very limited supply of resort view 2BD from what I see. Normally we did Lake view in the past but only could get Standard/Resort view and are heading down in Feb trying to see what my chances are for a refurb room.

I think your chances are not at all good. They were working on level 7 and above on the south end when we were there in December and those are the villas that will be first as refurbished this January. Nothing that high in BLT is standard view (now resort view).

Unfortunately, only rooms on higher floors have been completed so none of the resort/standard view rooms have been done yet.
