Bay Lake Tower refurb dates

I've been trying to track down some of that room art as well but no luck so far, sadly.

Vault Collectibles at the Lakeland Antique Mall is your go to. They posted a few weeks ago on their Facebook page about their items in stock. Some of it has ended up on eBay as well.

We are planning on BBQing before the Christmas party, but then I thought oh no, what if the BBQ’s are gone or down due to the refurb!
I could call BLT right? Wrong! All calls go to a call center and they have no clue what is happening on property.
I could ask my son (current CP CM) for some visual confirmation right? Ha! I got a blurry movie as he drove by on a boat. It was a good close up of refurbed rooms.

Has anyone been to BLT in the last week or so and can confirm the BBQ’s are there?
OR: does anyone have the direct number to BLT?

Ugh the Skybridge being closed in January makes me sad. I feel like probably none of the new rooms will be available for Mid January and I’ll have to walk outside and up and around to get soda refills and breakfast at Contempo Cafe. First world problems!

If you ask for some points back, I think I've heard of them allowing another year of banking sometimes when people got downgraded. Of course YMMV

The points were already banked before so I think they would definitely expire. I had expected to use them anyway so no big deal. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I seriously hope so and my request for a new room for Jan 17th can be honored. It would make the sting of closed skybridge hurt less.

Thanks! Just booked 1/1-1/4 fingers crossed they're ahead of schedule and we get the refurbished rooms.

At the association meeting they said the first batch of rooms is expected to be made available in two weeks....so this matches that timing. I can't wait to see the first pics!!!

That would be my assumption. Most of the pictures we have seen are from the top floors where they do not have standard rooms

I am here now. We have a GV on the north side. It appears no work is being done over here. The south elevators are out of service and it looks as though all the work is being done on the upper floors south of the south elevator bank.

Lots of activity with workers but I haven't seen anything recognizable.
