We put a request for refurbished room in January and made sure to ask upon check in and they did give it to us and early check in too. Make sure you check everything is working, we had heater issues after we already unpacked and they had to move us, they said they couldn't fix it because they would have to go into another room that was occupied. They told us it was a common issue with about 50% of the heaters not working

Newish owner - we have direct and resale at BLT. Does anyone know if you can go to TotW lounge if staying with resale points but also a direct owner? I've seen answers both ways online.

To the best of my knowledge, being a direct owner grants you access to all direct-owner benefits regardless of whether your stay is booked on your direct points or resale points.

Does anyone know what floors on North Tower are being worked on now?

I was there over the weekend and posted some photos in the BLT refurb thread.
Based on empty balconies it looks like about floor 6 or 7 up.

Have the studio theme park views been through refurb? Have a chance to book for an upcoming short trip, and would really prefer to have the extra pulldown bed and not sleeper sofa.

I am going to assume, based in location, mostly no. If there is a TPview in the south tower then yes. But I dont have a good enough grasp on which rooms are considered what. For example, our (then) lake view GV in December had an awesome view of the MK.

There are lock off TPV studios in the south tower. They must have been refurbed.

All I know is that the artists name is Joey Chou. Loved his artwork before BLT and have bought a few Disney prints in the past.

When the refurb happened, I instantly knew it was him, same style as his other Disney prints. He has been a Disney Artist for a while, he is often at Wonderground Gallery in Downtown Disney signing his prints.

Not sure what the schedule is exactly, but will the refurb be done by Labor Day?

Just returned from BLT with two of our grand daughters. We had room 7729 (2 Bedroom - Refurbished) and the refurbishment was well done.

I believe we were among the first, if not the first to stay in the room since refurbishment. Someone mentioned earlier that they didn't have ice trays, we also needed to request these.

Parks were not overly crowded, and we used LL and single pass purchases extensively.

Another great trip in the books!

Thanks. This may be a dumb question but… what maintenance are they doing to that pool that’ll take 4 months?! I can understand SAB being down for quite a while…

Thanks! Obviously I’m stuck in 2025. I really did know it was next January though. And it says through early May, so Memorial Day 2026 may be safe.
