Bay Lake Tower or Polynesian Villas

I will be making our Christmas time reservation for next year in a few days. It will just be two of us traveling and I am torn between Bay Lake Tower Theme Park View Studio and Polynesian Lake View Studio. The firework view from the room is important to me for this trip. What are your thoughts on the difference in firework views, the transportation, and Christmas theming at the two resorts? Thank you.

Poly lake view category is a 33% chance you will have a ground floor room where the bungalows block most of the lake view. But the upper floors have some of the best straight-on MK views you can get.

BLT theme park view has the BLT parking lot between BLT and MK Some get distracted by the parking lot.. but it should be a more guaranteed fireworks view.

With 2, there’s not as much concern that BLT studios are much smaller.

If you plan on spending time at Epcot then hands down Poly. SO easy and convenient to walk to the Epcot monorail from the Poly DVC villas.

I'd do Bay Lake Tower. The Theme Park View rooms are amazing, even from the lower floors that are in that category are still a great view. They also have a TV channel that will play the music. BLT is one of my favorite resorts on property.

I'd choose Poly. Bigger room. More food options. Easier access to Epcot. BLT is very sterile (IMO).

I haven't stay at Poly but I love BLT. The close proximity to MK is hard to beat and it would be awesome with a theme park view!
