Ask your questions about Bay Lake Tower. I can assist you with any help you need on this resort since we have stayed here over 5 times already. Feel free to ask, I'll answer as quick as possible :-)

What do you like so much about BLT that you keep staying there? What type of villa have you stayed in?

It has a very nice view of Magic Kingdom. At night, you can watch the fireworks at the top of the building, and it really is a great view. You can hear the fireworks & Music from the top. The pool is also a nice relaxing area! The community center is another great place for my kids to relax if they want to play pool or ping pong. We normally stay in a pool view on the 8-12th floor. Honestly, me, my husband, and my kids love to stay here. Also the rooms are very comfortable and large.

Is it possible to get two real beds in less than a two bedroom?

No, it isn't. However, I have slept on both the pull-out sofa and the chair and been perfectly comfortable....and I'm fairly picky.

Do you have to be a DVC member (or guest of a DVC member) to access the fireworks viewing area at the top of Bay Lake Tower?

thanks for starting this thread. we will be staying there for the first time on jan 2nd. LV studio the first night and MK view the following three nights, just my ds14 and myself.

do we check in at BLT or at the CR? we are arriving in the afternoon.

do you know what stop BLT is on ME? or what resorts it shares with/ how long the ME ride usually takes?

we will mostly be at the MK so we will walk there, but when we visit the other parks, is it a pain to get to the buses and monorail? is it a bit of a hike from BLT?

what do you recommend for QS?

is fantasia market at CR our only option for groceries/ conveniences? we have an order with GG but i'm sure we will think of a few things that we forgot.

do the studios not have plates and silverware? i could swear i saw that somewhere but now i can't remember where.

if you have any general recommendations, i'd love to hear them. i normally research the heck out of my trips but this was semi-last-minute. I feel like the info I read about the CR is mixing with what I have read about BLT and I can't keep them straight.

The guard at the gate told us where to go to check in. First time we stayed at BLT we were directed to the Contemporary, and this time we were directed to BLT.

The little grocery section at BLT is stocked with the essentials so if something is missing from your GG order you can grab it there. No real plates or flatware...all plastic, but there are real glasses.

The walk from MK to BLT is THE selling point of this resort. We loved being able to be back in our room in 5 minutes from exiting the park. It's an easy and enjoyable walk. Buses are easy enough, and there is the monorail if you need it.

If you arrive by ME then check in is at the Contemporary. If you drive in you check in at BLT.
