Planning our first trip to BLT in the spring and plan to grill out. I saw a pic that shows charcoal grills. Anyone used one here before? I'm assuming I bring my own charcoal. Would I need to bring a long lighter, poss lighter fluid if I don't get auto match.. Or any suggestions from anyone? Thanks!!

If you are flying, you will not be able to bring the charcoal, lighter fluid or long lighter with you - you would need to pick those up at a "whatevermart" in Orlando.

But yeah, it's you supply your own stuff if you want to BBQ.

If you are a DVC member you can check out the tools (but not charcoal) from Community Hall for free (I think you have to leave an id for deposit). You may be able to rent them if you are staying and are not a DVC member. I don't know about BLT but some of the DVC with grills sell charcoal in the stores I think. We drive so we bring it all with us.

you should be able to buy it at the gift/grocer store at CR.

that say where are you getting your food to BBQ - would also get characoal then.

I use the auto light characoal and just use matches - throw them in.

Thanks! We will be driving and bringing it with us, it's our first stay as a DVC member, so just trying to get an idea of what to plan and pack for.

get grociers there - at least for me (Ala) it is cheaper.

no sales tax on food. the vegetables and fruits are generally bigger and better than what we get too.

I like Publix
