Artist rendering of Bay Cove Pool looks quite nice on the pics here.
Looks very pretty with Bay Lake behind the pic of the pool and slide...

The slide looks nice and in the description in it it also said interactive childrens area? Seems like that is now the plan adding pools with "interactive childrens areas" which is nice for young families!

Anyone have any additional info? Doesn't it seem though that Kidani Pool and the Interactive Area will be larger?

Thanks!:dance3:

I too want to see them. I know that there is a beach area on the south side but in the drawings submitted to the Orange County Comptroller there looks like there may be a beach area too.

So is there more to it than the pics we've seen on the virtual tour? (w/the mosaic tile walls) I thought it seemed kind of plain, and could use more interactive features for kids.

The Kidani pool & fun area will be larger than BLTs no doubt. I'm anticipating it to rival the attraction of Storm-along-bay... in a different manner of course (no lazy river is my loss :sad1:)

I think if you look at the feature pool at SSR you'll see the closest thing going to BLT's pool design right now. Disney knows many families and individuals base where they'll stay on the pool - they'll make it nice.

I thought the pool area was really, really cool looking. I also liked how the architects were able to work up a walk through of something that didn't exist. The pool slide looked absolutely Contemporary gorgeous and fun.

My only down side was that I thought those huge plants that looked like bamboo stuck together and put in a metal cage was odd, bizarre, and ugly.

I love the lazy river! I also love to swim and will be glad to have the non-swimmers siphoned off into their own area. It is hard to be the only one actually swimming (Literally - the whole time I was the only adult who swam except once I saw one of the off-duty lifeguards swim a little bit, and only a very small number of the kids tried to swim, with lots of flailing and splashing. The rest were there to stand or play in the pool.) No one really allows for a lap lane, and they tend to splash or even jump without looking, or back into you randomly no matter how you try to find a path. It is difficult when coming up for air to get a lungful of surprise splash water! It was great that the main pool at OKW was big enough to leave some room around the groups of people. Swimming in Florida, particularly at those clean Disney pools, is wonderful!

I was referring to the pic of the Bay Cove Pool on the main page here of Dis.

When I clicked on Bay Lake Tower Room Photos then clicked again once I got in there it say BLT at Contemporary Resort..

It showed pic of BLT and pic of pool...

Where is the video you are speaking of?

Thanks........

If you go to the DVC website, there are a lot of cool things to click on concerning BLT. When the site opens up, click on "View our newest site" and then click on "Sneak Preview". One of the choices under sneak preview is Bay Cove Pool. An imagineer gives a description while the video pans through the pool area.

Maybe this will work. You may have to sign in.

There are a lot of cool things under view our newest stie, and other cool stuff under Bay Lake Tower that is a description of each of the resorts. You can see the points charts, etc. with the information where all of the other resorts information is located.

Enjoy!

:confused3 water play areas must be in vogue now...give me a lazy river any day of the week:thumbsup2

It looks fabulous!!! I wonder though how much sun the area will get - which will be important during non summer months if you want to use the pool.

The entire video of BLT in my opinion was very appealing!

I thought the slide looked fun at BLT!

I agree, SAB is really awesome! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
