Battle of the Gridiron Stars?

My DS14 just came to me and said, "Mom, I thought you knew about all the special events at Disney World. Why didn't you tell me about this?" Turns out he's watching a show on ESPN called "Battle of the Gridiron Stars" featuring famous football players that was taped at WDW.

Does anyone know when this was held? I saw the castle in the background and it has the golden decorations so it must have been fairly recently.

Do they have this every year? Has anyone ever been?

I told him that it's probably one of those things that they don't advertise in advance - you just have to happen to be there at the same time.

It was filmed during the ESPN the weekend. I belive back in Feb. If you notice everyone was wearing jackets and pants. It wasn't open to the public.
