Batting Cages Charlotte/Concord, NC area - where are they?

My daughter is just now getting into fastpitch softball. I thought it may help her to go to a batting cage a couple times just to see what she is getting into but there is none to be found. It's crazy! There use to be one (it seemed) on every corner but I can't find one anywhere. The one really local closed several years ago. I've done a couple internet searches for one in Charlotte or Concord, but everything that comes up look like baseball/softball camps or private facilities.

Anyone else from my area know where one is?

Is she going to play school ball? If so, the schools have machines /batting cages for use at practice.

Yes, her coach will have a pitching machine at some of their practices but I was hoping to be able to take my DD to a batting cage (and my DS too) for fun.

There was a batting cage on Wilshire Ave across from Hartsell Baseball fields in Concord last year. You could call Concord parks and recreation and they would probbaly know the name of it. Good luck

Wow, Stanly County...you deserve a good mom award for driving! My ds used to practice at Grand Slam USA, and it's located behind the Target in Matthews. Pretty nice place, but doesn't open until the early afternoon hours IIRC. (we homeschool and tried to take advantage of going earlier but couldn't). Good luck this season!!!

It's really not that bad of a drive. It only takes me 30 mins to get to Matthews, Charlotte, Concord, etc. I'm in the center of several bigger size cities, I just get to pick which one I want to shop in.

I want to say there's a batting cage here in Harrisburg - I think at the corner of 49 and Tom Query, near the Peak Fitness. I'll check for the name next time I drive by. That may be closer than some of the others mentioned. Good luck!!
