I feel like we are always buying batteries! With Christmas coming and 2 battery hogging LeapPads coming I am just trying to get the best pick. For instance Duracel rechargable with 2000mAh (I have no iead what those numbers mean it was listed on LeapFrogs site) for 4 batteries its about 9.99 (I need 2 sets) vs Energizer disposable batteries 40pk at Sams Club around $14ish. Store Brands?

What batteries have you found are money well spent for battery hogs?

I got a rechareable pack at sams that included the charger and batteries. It came with at least 8(might have been 12) AA and 4 AAA. Sam's also carries another pack with just the recharables. Last time I looked they also came with a bonus itunes card($10).

:cool1: That would be a great deal! If I get rechargables I would need atleast 12 so 1 set is always on the charger! An iTunes GC :cloud9: would be the cherry on the top

I use eneloops in a sanyo charger for the leappads as well as the other toys and household stuff. They work well and have saved us so much money. I used to go to ikea almost weekly for their alkalines. If you don't buy rechargeable buy alkalines as I've found leapster products don't work well with the regular kind.
