Bats Day (May 6-7) attendance question

Hi, I just saw that Bat Day was this weekend...I was thinking about going on Sunday, but now I'm wondering how much busier it'll be because of Bat Day and wondering if I shouldn't. Do they just stay on the Disneyland side, because then I can just go over to the CA side. Any info is appreciated. Thanks

I've asked the same question before. The responses were that it's not a big enough gathering to effect anything. The most people have said is that it can be entertaining to people watch.

Last year Bat's Day and Dapper Day was the same day! Way more Dappers, though the Bat's Day folks were pretty cool and lots of fun.......so agree that it likely would not affect the crowds much.

We were there on Bats Day one year and they didn't have any noticeable effect on the crowd. You might notice the people in Goth clothing, but they are a relatively small number compared to the total attendance. They have a couple of pre-arranged photo ops at the Haunted Mansion and in front of the castle so that's when you'll see the largest gathering, but other than that it's just friends spending a day at the park.

I looked at Bats Day on Facebook. They have 3 group photos organized:
12 - Sword in The Stone, in front of the Carousel (just for kids)
2 - Sleeping Beauty Castle
8 - Haunted Mansion
