bathrooms

we have a 6 week old baby. i have noticed that when i go into public restrooms that they never have any of the covers for the changing station.
has anyone noticed if the bathrooms in disney have them or not?

i was able to find disposable ones at toys r us

not that I ever noticed. We usually just put down a couple paper towels.

I can't remember for sure if they have them in Disney but I brought my own pad to change my boys on.

I always carried my own changing pad with me, then you don't have to worry,and you always have something to change the baby on!

In the baby care centers -which I highly recommend visiting- the changing tables have paper on them; I usually pull the top sheet off so I know my DS is getting a "fresh" paper. The regular bathrooms don't have the disposable pads, but there is usually a paper towel dispenser right there.
I always have a changing pad too, but in the baby care centers I didn't need to use it; I also don't have to worry about it getting dirty.

i carry the disposible ones..
i dont like the idea of the changing pad. never know what someone eles has left on the table. then putting the pad back in the diaper bag creeps me out LOL

toys r us sells the 24 pk of pads for 4.99
kmart sells the 12 pk for 2.49

I always just use a blanket in public washrooms since I'm more likely to remember to wash a blanket than I am to clean a changing pad. I'm always careful to put the same side down each time though and the blankets I use are only used for that purpose. If you're worried about putting it back in the diaper bag, just stick it in its own plastic bag first. I use the scented diaper disposal bags you can buy and it keeps it smelling fresh.
