Bathroom magazine racks

What do you think - tacky or useful?

I'm torn on this one...

Useful, but can be tacky if you don't get the "right" one! I have a long, skinny basket that we use. If I didn't have it, DH would just pile the stuff up on the floor!

That's why we got one. It's small and actually goes on the wall. Otherwise, I'm constantly picking up DBFs mags which he'd leave on the hamper, IN the hamper, on the sink where they'd get soaked etc.


We only have one bathroom in our apartment.

If we had more than one, I'd limit it to the people who live here only bathroom probly, but we don't have that option right now.

Mine are neatly stack on the back of the toleit, or on the floor. Just so they are in easy reach. My biggest worry is DS using the whole roll of TP at one sitting, what does he do with it!!

Definitely tacky. I've just always found the thought of them really disgusting.

PS - I hate it when there are magazines at someone else's house. The ones in my house are old and I've already read them. New ones......well that's a different story.....I could be in there for hours!

we don't have a rack but DH is always taking the newspaper or magazines in there
I do not read on the toilet - end of store

I'm sorry, but I find reading in the bathroom disgusting. Get in there, do what you went in to do, and get out. Just remember to wash your hands before leaving.(but that's another thread)

This has to be one of the biggest gripes I have with my DFiance. i HATE, I mean HATE when he brings papers/mags, etc into the bathroom. They either end up on the floor, sink or back of the toilet. It's yukcy! I like everything put up in the medicine cabinet, the only thing that sits on the counter is the air freshner, the rest I "hide", I hate a cluttered bathroom.

I have no problem with them, although I do draw the line at having a dorm size refrigerator in there. LOL

Wow, I'm surprised! I've never not had something to read in the bathroom. In fact right now I'm in the market for a nice basket to hold them in my remodeled master bath.

Don't you get bored in there with nothing to read ?
