Well, count me in as a wierdo. I just got out of the bath where I enjoyed some good old splashy fun with my 30 month old little guy. It never occured to me that anyone would think that it was odd in any way.
No, I won't be bathing with him when he's 14. I imagine that sometime in the not so distant future he will develop a sense of modesty or awareness or whatever and I'll stop bathing with him, changing in front of him, etc. because it would make both of us uncomfortable. That certainly hasn't happened yet, though. Honestly, I can't imagine not bathing with my baby/toddler. It's so much fun! We don't do it every night because of time, but we do at least a few times a week.
Of course, he's still nursing, too, so a bath seems like no biggie at all.
DH just isn't a bath kind of guy. He doens't take them at all - alone or with company. He does take Paul into the shower with him pretty often, though.
Oh well. Somebody better call children's services . . .
