New Disney Visa "Inspire" card

No they keep sending you the same one unless you request a new design.
You can request a new design but when you do that if they retire yours like they did with my green tink one they won't send that and you can't pick it again.
Exactly, you can request a new one whenever you like but just know you may never see it again. DH has the Millennium Falcon one--can't get that again so he's stuck since he loves that design, lol

They used to have Sorcerer Mickey and I loved that one, gone now too.

Finally! So I saw the signage last Tuesday which I guess means someone put it out on the wrong Tuesday.

Definitely could have met some of these spend requirements a week ago when we were there.

Anyone apply for it yet? I'm going to try for it since we have two more dvc direct payments coming up. But the question is whether to upgrade our Premier or try for a second Disney Visa. I'm getting a little burned out on the churning game by having so many cards out there.

For me this card doesn’t move the needle to justify a new app. I’d rather apply for a better a card. I have a Disney Visa so I would just upgrade mine if I decided I want this.

I bet upgrade offers will soon appear too.

We were a split decision household. I do love the Stitch one, but went for the black & gold. For the other card, she picked Retro which isn't even Inspire restricted! Sometimes I wonder about her...
Lol, at least she knew what she wanted! I find it too hard.

I am not getting the card right away anyway, need to open a biz card with Chase first, then I'll wait a couple of months. Hopefully the $600 sign up bonus is not limited time

Here's hoping! That would help me out as well as I don't want to get above 5/24 already, had some other plans for CC apps this year.

And I know what you mean, but not everyone is deep in the CC game. I actually think Disney finally made a card that will work for a wide range of people beyond the "it's cute, I gotta have it" folks. An easy 10% back on $2K should be generally attractive, plus D+ credits.

So I just had $12,000 put on my Premier for my DVC purchase. (With the remaining $21,000 being charged at later dates.) Should I be switching this?? I mean, I assume it's too late to change that first 12k. But maybe I should be applying for this and calling the guide to change my upcoming payments?

Thoughts?

I need to look at the premier and see how much we typically get 2% on and then figure out if an extra 1% is enough to make up for the annual fee increase.

It is more than the annual fee increase for sure.

Well you will get that extra 1% on the next $21,000 plus the $300 statement credit...

I'd like to do this too, but I don't think I'll have the new card physically in hand before my balance on my DVC purchase goes through. I can't see a way to see the whole card number on the website or app.

Ah, yeah...I hadn't thought of that.

Also not sure how much a of credit limit they would be willing to give me.

Oh, and do I need to unfreeze my credit before applying for a new credit card??

If you upgrade it will work since the card number won’t change you just use the same one. (Verify I am correct when you upgrade though)

You should be able to get your number I would think. I recently got a different Chase card and this is what was sent to me which states I could start using it the same day. Could you add it to Apple Pay and then see the number?
