Does anyone happen to know if bubbles are premitted in the hot tubs in the rooms at SSR? I can't seem to find the answer online anywhere. Thanks!!!!:)

Never heard or seen anything saying they are not. One of my favorite things to do is to get some bath bombs at Basin and then use them in the jetted tubs at the DVC and many of my other DVC friends do the same.

Ask yourself if you think they are allowed in pools......................the answer is no.But if it is in your room, i would say yes.

Don't do it!! On my honeymoon I stayed in a room with a jacuzzi type tub in the bathroom. I thought bubbles would be fun. Guess what? 3 feet of bubbles. It was funny as hell but it was tricky to clean up.

I would suggest a bath bomb or bath salts as opposed to bubble bath if you are using a jetted tub. Once you turn on the jest the bubbles go crazy and, like a PP said, you will end up with three foot high bubbles. And once they get like that it is really hard to get rid of them.

i think she's talking about the jacuzzi tubs that are in the rooms. the one and two bedroom deluxe villas have these in every room.

i would assume its okay. i would, however, wipe it down with a wipe or something before getting in it...just because I'm paranoid

i've already set aside a basin budget for my trip coming up at kidani village!!

i have also read thru packing lists on dvc boards and a lot of them include bubble bath :)

have a great time!! you'll love soaking after a tiring day at the parks!!!

we have done it at other resorts and never had a problem with it. just make sure you do not go crazy with the amount you put it. other then that it should not be a problem

Hehe this happened when DH and I got married in Vegas :) We had bubbles everywhere, they had the bubbles there on the counter so I thought what the heck :) I got a great picture of the huge bathroom with bubbles from floor to celing. Whoops!

As PP have said, wipe the tub down first and be very sparing with the bubbles. I almost lost DD in the bubble bonanza we created:rotfl:Very funny, but slippery and took forever to clean up

Have you ever seen the I love lucy episode with the bubbles. You should not use them in a jacuzzi. You can use a bath bomb.

I did mean IN the room, not the community tub. It sounds so funny you guys make me WANT to make 3 feet of bubbles! :rotfl: I'll be extra careful, though not to use too much. Thanks for all the replies!

LORDY, when I saw the title I thought hot tub...as in outside! Noooo! :scared1::laughing:

Indoor jacuzzi baths/jetted tubs are ok...not too much or you'll be flooding the room with bubbles.

Do not use bubbles in the jacuzzi tubs. They will ruin the tub plus overflow.

Really? We've used bubbles before and nothing was ruined. Most of my friends who have jacuzzi tubs in their bathrooms at home use bubbles all the time. Just watch the water/bubble level while filling and you should be fine.---Kathy
