Basic stroller questions -- MK spec.

Hi. I know we should tie a scarf, balloon, something on our strollers to identify them, but what happens if we want to "park and ride" WDRR and get off at a different area of the park? Do you actually turn in your stroller and then check out another? And does anyone have any inventive (but cheap) ideas for ID'ing your stroller when you park outside a ride? (And how often does it happen that people "steal" parked strollers?) I know we need to hold onto our receipts.

We took our own stroller, but here is what I did.

1. Bought a large funky-looking star shaped luggage tag and put our name, address and cell #'s on it.

2. Placed a few labels with our last name on them on the areas of the stroller you would see 1st....near the brakes by the back wheels, on the side where the child sits, etc.

3. OUR LIFESAVER!!! ---- I bought a package of 2 rainbow colored pom poms in a department store luggage section. The pom poms were meant to go on luggage handles for id purposes. They were elastic and attached with a snap. We put this on the handle and it saved us!! (also traveled with another stroller family and they had the same pom-pom on the handle.) VERY easy to spot our strollers!!! It was such a great thing and believe me, it seemed like our stroller was moved from EVERY spot we put it in.

We took our own strollers but I made tags for them for less than $5 total. I typed our name in large, bold letters and printed it from my computer. I took it to Staples and had them photocopy on both sides of lime green paper, then cut to size and laminate it, and punch a hole for hanging. They also gave me plastic ties to attach the signs to our strollers. They were easy to spot in a crowd and we had lots of Disney cast members comment on how good the tags were.

We made some tags with our cricut...it was awesome!

I went to the craft store and bought 3 yards of bright yellow nylon fabric. We attached it to the top of the stroller hood with binder clips. We never had any trouble locating our stroller after a ride. Additionally, the nylon fabric is waterproof and kept our stroller dry when it rained.
