I am planning a week trip to Orlando for last week in April. I am fairly sage in navigating WDW, but haven't a clue for Universal. A few questions..
1) Is there any better day to go? With Disney its a science, but it seems that at Universal every day is treated the same.
2) How bad is it concerning crowds? Is the park fairly open (ala EPCOT) or more congested (ala Animal Kingdom)?
2) Any touring tips?
3) Can you upgrade a ticket at Universal while there (like at Disney). I was thinking of buying a 1 day ticket, but perhaps upgrading it to a 2nd day if kids like the park
Thanks

I cannot believe I do not have a touring plan for Universal and I love it. The only thing I know we have to do is when we arrive is go directly to the Simpson ride for DD8. Other than that, we are completely and utterly winging it. The only other thing we may do is hit WWOHP on the 24th or the 26 early for onsite guest opening. I haven't even decided on that yet because I'm not sure it's worth our getting up that early as we are not HP fans at all.
