Basic Point ?

I know I am getting ahead of myself since I havent even gotten through rofr yet, but I am just so damn excited. I appreciate all the help I everyone has provided so far. I am hopeful that my family will soon be the owners of 50 points at OKW and 60 points at VB. So here are my questions: Our use year is August for both. Both Contracts have all of the 08 points still available and untouched.

If there is availability in June 09 we would like to goto VB. So I can use all of my 08 points and borrow 15 points or so from 09, and then bank the rest since we will not going back to VB until '11.

Then in January of 10, We will use 80 of our points 08 and 09 to go to OKW and stay at a 1 bedroom for sun to thurs.

Is this doable or do I need to rethink our plans.

Assuming you are going back to Vero before July 31, 2011 both plans would seem to work according to my calculations. I am a bit of a DVC novice though.

Sounds like you can.

You will have until March 31 2009 to bank any or all of 2008 Use Year points otherwise they will expire on July 31 2009. If banked into 2009 UY those
2008 UY points are then available for use from August 1 2009 - July 31 2010.

You have until March 31 2010 to bank any or all of August 2009 Use Year points. If you do bank those 2009 UY points then those will be available for you to use from August 1 2010 - July 31 2011.

Just keep in mind that points can only be banked once so for example:
2008 UY points may only be banked into and used in 2009 UY; those same 2008 UY points banked into 2009 UY could not be banked AGAIN into 2010 UY.

And once banked points stay banked and cannot be "brought back" so to speak into the current Use Year.

Sounds like a good plan.

On a side note, make sure that both contracts are titled the same and have your escrow company reference the contract that closes second to the contract that closes first. You really need to double check on this. You don't want to end up with two master contracts.
