Basic plan with silver, gold, etc addon?

DBf and I are considering planning a vacation to Disney next May even though we already live here I don't know much about the resorts or packages, and I'm wondering if it's possible to get one of the silver, gold, etc add ons to the Basic Plan? We don't need tickets as we'll have APs, but we'd love to do all the meals and the extra tours that the gold plan includes without doing the Dream Maker package.

I am almost positive you can only add the gold plan onto a dream maker package. Years ago they allowed you to add a dining/recreation plan to any reservation but that is no longer possible.

Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of. DBf keeps pushing me to ask around, though. I'll try to call the reservations line sometime soon.

I currently have the dream maker package with the silver add on. You can add either of the add ons. You have the silver, gold, platnum, prince/princess add ons. I think there is another, but cant remember right now. Add ons have to be added for the entire stay, except for the prince/princess. Example, you are booked 7 nights........have to have 7 nights of add on. Or do what I did....First night is a pre (room only), then my package, then the last night is a post (room only). This way, I'm not buying something I dont need.

The problem is that we don't need the Dream Maker package at all - we have annual passes. I saw that they could book room only plans called a "Basic Plan" and I was wondering if anything could be added on to that. Thanks, though!
