If you've received PIN codes the last two years, did you receive one this year as well? I received two last year, and we went in May. I also received them the year before (no trip), and I believe the year before that too, but not completely sure. Just wondering your experiences with this.

I know this question is somewhat rhetorical, but I am hoping for a PIN for May, and have yet to receive one (although I just ordered the planning DVD last week).

We went last year and received both free dining and a 35% off pin for moderates for July. We used the free dining and loved it. I have also received all the pins this year but the pins don't include the month of July so I haven't been able to use them this year. I am hoping for a July pin or public code or free dining for this July.....I am ready to book and start planning!!! We want to celebrate a 1 year wedding anniversary, a 79th birthday, and 2 college graduations this year.

We were able to get the FD QS last year for June. I too am ready to book but I am trying to hold out for a pin. Yesterday I priced the 20% off of values. It is just not much of a deal. Does anyone recall the month the FD pins were released last year? I am trying to remember when I booked, but I can't. Also, when I called yesterday to check rates with discount, the CM was quick to point out that Disney is certainly stating that this will be there last public discount. (of course we know it could change) I am just getting a little concerned that we may not see anything else this year.

I booked in March last year for July and I got the free dining. If they don't release some type of code, we have decided to rent a condo on the beach and give up our disney vacation this year.

We've received pins every year. We last went in 2009 and got the room discount pin and the free dining pin for November. We are going again this November, and I got the 35% off values pin code. I'm still holding out hope that they'll offer free dining, since it will save us more money than the room discount. We actually got the 35% pin code four separate times this year. Two to separate emails, and 2 mailers, one to me and one to DH. I just hope we haven't exhausted our pin codes for the year. =)

We got 2 in 09 and 3 in 2010. None this year and I did everything people suggested to get one.

I ended up just booking with the general public code. I would have only saved another $175ish with the 40% off code. I didn't want to not be able to book the timeframe and room we wanted.

We received our first ever pin code for 40% off in 2009 and got another one last year but nothing so far this year.

Same here. This is our first year without any PIN codes whatsoever. And we're planning a mid-October trip, we need one!

I recieved one last year with travel dates ending December 31, 2010, but I have yet to recieve one this year.

We also received pins the last couple of years-both by email and postcard, but haven't gotten anything for 2011. It is just so hard to pay regular prices when we've gotten such great deals in the past! We will most likely skip this year as well. Guess I'll have to cancel our dining reservations for March.

I have received so many PINS since our trip in Sept 09 I can't even count but I stopped getting them in December - one month after we decided to book again! ARH!

It's very inconsistant. We've had some years where I've received several during the course of the year of different types, and other years where I haven't received one at all. This year my DH, me, and my 'junior' son all received a PIN code....that's never happened before.
