Hello,

We will be at Disney for 3 days, 2/21-2/24. I am trying to decide which park to do each day. Usually we do DL, CA, then visit both on final day. However, since CA has so many new attractions I am not sure what changes this has caused crowd wise. Can anybody suggest which park would be best each day.....thanks in advance!

Here are the Touring Plans predictions: DL. DCA
Thu, February 21, 2013 8 out of 10 8.1 7.7
Fri, February 22, 2013 9 out of 10 9.7 7.7
Sat, February 23, 2013 10 out of 10 10.0 8.3
Sun, February 24, 2013 8 out of 10 7.8 4.4

When we did 4 days we ended up doing one full day in both DL and DCA and then park hopped the other two. I felt like we did and saw a lot. Any day we were in DCA, we always started with an RSR FP.
This is a tough one, but I think I would have Sunday be the DL day.

Are you staying onsite? If so, I would go to the park each day that offers EMH.

Are you getting hoppers? If so, go to both on all 3 days!

Hopping is the way to go... hope you got park hoppers... start where they have EMH if you are staying onsite and then cross over in the afternoon...

And if you are not staying onsite start at the park without EMH that day - unless you have MM at DL.

If you are staying offsite, I highly recommend getting a Minnie and Friends breakfast reservation during the Disneyland Extra Magic Hour/Magic Morning hour. That will extend your Park hours by an hour. Likewise, if you can't get into a park until 10am one day, do the Mickey's Surf's Up Breakfast and the Paradise Pier Hotel early enough to allow you to get to the gates by 10am.

I agree with others that hopping is great. But if Fastpass return times are enforced in February, as is rumored, I also think hopping will lose some of its appeal...at least, if you want to ride the Fastpass rides. It will still make sense to maybe hop in the evening or something, but it'll be more difficult to skip if a priority is rides.

I see nothing wrong with starting one's trip in DCA now...we started our visit in Disneyland because our first day was the Disneyland Halloween party, and then we had Early Entry to Disneyland park the next day. Otherwise, I would've definitely started my trip in DCA to see all the new things. (Disneyland is amazing but didn't have anything I didn't see last year, except for the Halloween Jamboree, which of course won't be running in February :flower3: )

Sunday, February 24 is Dapper Day, so if you have any interest in peoplewatching and/or vintage clothing, you should have some fun in Disneyland and probably Buena Vista Street of DCA on that day.
