My son's team played in the Dec 07/Jan 08 tournament.
We stayed in CBR and the Mears busses came to our area, once
for dads and kids about an hour before game time, and once again
for moms and siblings, which worked out great. The one bus driver
was actually from our town and had retired to Florida..

There were families that had their own vehicles, and they came
and went as they pleased, but also made it to the fields just fine.
My son's team is basically a year round team, so all the siblings
are used to being at games. My older daughters didn't always
come to the games; if they wanted to sleep in and go to the
pool while we were at the games, that was fine with me. Plus,
there were other siblings their age so they weren't alone.
We brought our own bottled water (which we had ordered from
Garden Grocer, and had frozen some in the little freezer
compartment) and snacks and pbj sandwiches but there was
a snack stand where we were (the 50-70 fields).
The kids had water or gatorade (either or both, not sure)
available in the dugouts. Some of the bleachers were covered
so you weren't in the sun all day but there were also open
bleachers (as far as I recall). We also went down a couple of
days earlier than the start of the tournament and stayed a
couple of days after so we would have strictly park days.
They had ice for the pitchers afterwards, there were trainers
in tents in case of injuries, and a few vendors selling gloves,
socks, belts, tshirts, etc. All in all, I think it was a great trip,
both the tournament part and the parks part.
