Baseball playoff tickets

Im an Os annual pass holder so of course we get first dibs. Fed ex just delivered all my DS, CS, and world series tickets yesterday. After the season pass holder window closes, they release whatever remaining tickets for sale to the general public lottery holders. If you're lucky enough to purchase any of those remaining tickets, most of the remaining tickets will be singles scattered throughout the upper deck. Chances are, I probably wont actually go to any of the games. I'll probably just resell mine on stubhub

Well how many do you have? Depending on the price I may be interested. Feel free to PM me.

Good luck to everyone trying to get playoff tickets! We have a 13 game plan with the Orioles. For our playoff package every series we were assigned Game 2 but that will not work for us this week. Luckily We a co-worker is buying those and we were fortunate to get Game 1 when they offered extra tickets.

You think YOU'VE had a dry spell. The Kansas City Royals are headed back to the playoffs for the first time since the year my husband and I were married...... 29 years ago. :faint:

My husband didn't even DO the lottery. He didn't want to jinx anything! :rotfl2:

Did anyone get tickets? I got stuck in the stupid virtual waiting room and by the time I got in they were sold out. :(:furious:

I got them!!!! 3 tickets so DH, DS6 and I can go Friday. Now I just need to see what time the actual game will be.

I did hear that they sold out in 15 minutes but I feel like it was less than that. I had my tickets in hand by 10:03. I also started trying to get in to buy them at 9:14 this morning and had 3 web browsers going at once.

Glad you could get tickets! We did the lottery with no luck and bought them of stubhub.

Btw, long time Orioles fan here and going to WDW the same time as you! :)

Let's go O's!!

This is going to be an eventful and expensive month before our trip. I will be easy to spot in WDW as I am sure there won't be too many people with Orioles backpacks. Orioles gear and Ravens gear will both be packed. We are heading to ESPN club to watch the Ravens game while we are there. That's all too far off to think about right now, I am ready for October baseball.

I know what you mean. I swore I was not going to buy tickets, because I wanted to save money for our trip. But I could not miss the Orioles during the playoffs! :) You probably won't be the only one... My best friend who is going with me to WDW is a die hard Baltimore fan too!

I had to come check here to see if you got tickets. I didn't even try because of DD's wedding Saturday I am a little busy. DH and DS got tickets from DS's girlfriend's family for Thursday. I hope it is the 6 pm game. Friday would not work for them.

Another O's fan here! Unfortunately, we're long distance fans in Florida with no chance to get to MD for the playoffs.

In 1997, we lucked into a 29-game ticket plan and DD#2 had the 13-game Sunday plan, so we had the opportunity to go to just more than half of the home games. Of course, most of them were on a "school night" so we didn't get to all of them. We had the right to buy playoff tickets for our regular seats, but we had to be in Africa for our work assignment by mid-September. Our DDs enjoyed our playoff tickets.

We're also hoping for an O's-Nats World Series. DH is a big Nats fan, and I have a soft spot in my heart for any DC baseball team, from way back to the original Senators, the pre-Twins and the pre-Rangers. That would be a win-win for us!

It looks like its traffic will be a mess around the area on Friday afternoon with the Nats playing in DC and Os playing in Baltimore. Both games are likely to start at noon or 3pm on friday. Can you say madness?

I work in DC. I am so thankful that I am off on Friday! I will probably will have to contend with it sooner or later though because I think the Nats are going all the way. I get on the Metro at Metro Center so it should be good and packed if the timing is right. :/

there's going to be upwards of 80,000 people across the region calling in sick on friday. :lmao:

I wouldn't be surprised if we don't get offered unscheduled telework on games that will end around the end of the work day.

If all else fails, there's always Stubhub.

As a long-suffering Phillies fan who is currently suffering again, I totally understand. That run from 2007-2011 is going to have to keep me going for awhile, but I'll always have the fact that I was there for Game 4 of the 2008 World Series.
