Baseball fans....!

Doctor P,

That sounds an awful lot like what we were hearing out of the South Side of Chicago last year!

GO TWINS!

I am more confident than usual this year. The White Sox won their division in '83 and '93, so with this year's team I figure it is just logical to think that they will win in '03. Incidentally, the Twins are probably my second favorite team, so them winning would be somewhat disappointing but still pretty good.

Chattanooga Lookouts because I work there

No A minor League team affilvated of the Cinnati Reds

Go Astros!! I think this is going to be a great year. We have Bagwell, Berkman and Kent hitting 4-5-6, plus Biggio made the move to Center Field without disrupting the teams chemistry. He said he is looking on it in a positive light in that he could be an All Star at a third position (Catcher and 2B previously) before he retires. If we can get our middle relief pitching going like it should, then we stand a chance to do something this year.

We have no major league team here in Detroit. Just the major league affiliate of the Toledo mud hens.

I live in Atlanta but grew up in St. Louis and still root for the Cardinals.

Finally another Cubs fan. Hopefully Dusty can inspire them. It looks like they made some good off season trades.

Well ... obviously the Cubs :).

I share a weekend/night game/holiday seasonm ticket package with a friend. I live in Wisconsin, 150 miles (and 3 1/2 hours) north of Wrigley Field. I only lived 1 mile (and a 20 minute walk) north when I bought my tickets in 1988, but I couldn't stand to give them up when I moved back to WI. I am such a big fan I arranged my upcoming Hawaii trip so I could be back in time for opening day . I'll be tanned, rested and shivering under my blanket.

I can't help it...it is is my blood...but I'll be rooting for the good ole RED SOXS again :) Gotta luv a team who atleast makes you think they are going to do well every year....lol

The Balty Orioles and Texas Rangers are my two top teams! I follow football (Liverpool) more closer though.

I'm a life-long World Champion California/Anaheim Angels fan. . . :Pinkbounc :bounce:

. . and trust me; I never thought I'd be able to refer to them as that in my life time!!!

LOL!!! ;) :teeth:

You folks have to stop doing this to me. I am a life long EXPOS fan. How's that for being a glutton for punishment?

I don't have a favorite baseball team, but I do love to go to the Spring Training games, on a nice afternoon!

Cold beer, and Moundball make for a perfect afternoon!

Does anyone ever play Moundball, when they watch a game?

Well, my team is the Phillies- and I hope they give me something to root for!

I will be at the last Phils game at the Vet. They'll be in a new stadium next year.

I LOVE Moundball!! After going to hundreds of games, I had never even heard of Moundball until I went to Opening Day in Baltimore a few years ago. We were in the bleachers with some great O's fans and they taught us how to play. Now we don't go to a game w/o playing Moundball.

My long time team is the SF Giants and I am still having a hard time getting over Game 6 of the Series and the loss of our beloved (other than by management) manager. I will be following the Cubs closely this year, in fact, am heading down to Arizona on Thursday to catch the Cubs/D'back game Friday. I just hope it doesn't rain (as forecast).
