I am still reading. Yay for saving $300!! Love the Little Mermaid stuff. I had to turn my computer when I was reading your post because DH has been bugging me to purchase the movie for our daughters. I said no maybe for Christmas because we just bought a bunch of Disney movies for them. I know if he saw your post he would start bugging me again...lol

You have been really busy. Love the pictures. Your girls are too cute.

Well, and I've heard there is a FD pin floating around… who knows? Maybe I'll get that? But I'm happy with what I have right now! I upgraded and still saved!

You should buy it!! Of course, we've watched about 80 million times this week!!! We have a HD tv, but a basic DVD player and I told my husband that it was time for a HD dvd/blu-ray player and he's like a freaking kid about to get dessert!

Lil Princess for the EIU Homecoming!!!!!!


I"m so excited I can't stand it!!! See… they have a "lil prince/princess" each year… you have to be the child of a student or faculty member. And Cortlyn was IT! I'm so excited!!! Can you tell?!?!??!?!?! She's gonna be a PRINCESS!!!! I suppose this is good training for her future with Disney, right?

She will be "crowned" on Monday night and ride in a parade next Saturday! I can't wait!! And of COURSE there will be pictures!

Thank you guys!!! I'm super excited!!! She's going to have SO much fun! Hard part will be trying to find a Blue dress for her, but I'm hoping to find something in a store! Fingers Crossed! I hate that it's so last minute- If I had known earlier this week I could have ordered something. Oh well!

So, we decided to tell our Lil Princess and we went shopping today for her dress. She was so excited to pick out a dress! I was worried that we wouldn't have enough time to search if I waited until Monday to shop. Turns out it didn't matter- we found the dress at the first store we went to! I'm a girl… I know how this stuff works! Of course, I found my wedding dress at the first shop I went to as well… so I guess I shouldn't be surprised!

Anyway, so she was really excited and of course we didn't think about recording telling her! I know- what kind of parents are we?!?! Anyway, she has been excited and had a few moments of her pride growing a bit too much… Already had to nip that in the bud! Can't be having my Lil Princess turning into Princess Amber! (Sofia the first reference… sorry if that's below your TV watching standards! It is on heavy rotation at our house!)

Anyway, so here is the dress (with a border picked out by Cortlyn!)

We need to practice that wave some more!! She doesn't have school tomorrow, so we will crack out the whip and get it PERFECT tomorrow!

You know, I rarely think that the view upgrades are necessary UNLESS you are somewhere that has a REALLY amazing view… like Theme Park view or the Savannah view. I don't spend my time looking out the windows! Usually they are closed up! BUT I'm glad to upgrade and still save money!

We love the LM movie! You should just get it! It has a little short about the lady who voiced Ariel being at AoA for some of the opening celebrations with her kids. It's really neat!!

What a CRAZY day and night!!

In case you missed it, there was some drama about the Round 2 selections for the Mom's Panel. There was a glitch in the system and it was showing candidates that DID make it past the first round a "congratulations" message. AND I was one of those lucky people!!!! I made it through to the second round! But that is where the pixie dust stopped. Disney quickly realized the glitch and shut the page down to fix it. Apparently, (after much worrying and confusion!) we were told that if you saw the message, then you WERE through to the next round, however if you didn't you aren't off the island yet! I was hanging out at that thread a lot this morning, because I was freaking out!!!

Then this afternoon, I missed a call and when I called the Vmail that was left it was from the Cosmetology department at the local college- I scored an interview to that program for the Spring!!!!! Did I mention that here? That I was applying to go back to school?? I can't remember… but I did!

Then this evening was the Coronation for our Lil Princess!!!! I will upload pictures tomorrow- I've been fighting with Facebook to upload there, and I just do NOT have the energy to fight with Photobucket tonight. Do you forgive me??? I'll give you a hint- she was amazing!
