BA's "Twilight" Check-in

Has anybody used this facility at Gatwick?

We're travelling down the night before we fly and staying at a local hotel (approx 10 mins away) and were wondering how best to check in. We'd obviously need to drive to the airport, but where would the best place to park be whilst we check-in and how long would we expect the check-in procedure to take?

Any advice would be appreciated.

We parked in the short term car park

Process took less than 10 mins to check all 6 of us in - we'd already filled out all our API online.

It wasn't well advertised when we used it so we were the only ones there

I would agree with parking in the short term parking. Twilight check in with BA is not normally very busy at all, and it shouldn't take you very long - you should certainly only have to pay for parking for an hour.

You could actually check in online before you leave home, and then the process would be even quicker!

Same here - we used it last August and there was no queue, whole thing done in about 2 minutes

Agree with everyone else. The whole process was very smooth. Plus we added our overnight bag the next day without any problem.
