Barney Show

Hi, just wondering if anyone can give input on
the Barney Show and what its like. I am so excited
about my 2yr DD seeing this, my 10yr DS on the other
hand is a little less enthused

Your 2 yr old will love it, it will gag your 10 yr old. The little ones really like it and at the end, Barney comes back to the stage and shakes hands with kids. No time to take pictures, though!

The show is a lot like the TV show. Same songs, same set up, the kids "dream up" Barney when the lights dim out and then when they come back on.. surprise! Barney is there! The little ones clap and sing along like the peanuts they are. Have your video cam all set and ready!

Then baby Bop & bro are there, I can't recall anymore. When my little one turned 5 we threatened we'd run away if he made us sit in one more Barney show!

Robin, Michael is so much like Alyssa, she still loves the Barney show, she'll be 9 in June. The last 2 trips down though, I have had to promise that I wont tell any of her friends that we went to the show.

Cheryl, your 10 year old may surpise you.

Thanks for the link Robinrs ... that is exactly what I was
looking for. I told my 10yr if I have to sit through it he
has to also. Actually to see my 2yr DS's face light up it
will be worth it all. I may even be able to convince my DH
to watch it, but I won't push it.

My 2 year old was in heaven! I have to admit... it was a really great show! My son danced in the aisles and got to shake hands and hug Barney at the end. We got LOTS of great pictures!!!

There's also a GREAT educational play area called Barney's backyard. Your 2year old will love it. It's located between the Barney show and the gift shop. Go when a Barney show has just started and you will have the place to yourself! Right after a show gets out it's a mob scene.

My 9 year old son put up quite a stink about the Barney show too. We just reminded him that his 3 yr. old brother was very patient all 4 times he rode MIB and that fair is only fair.

He will never admit to it, but I caught him singing along!
