Bargaining with agents

Hi,

I have been given a quote for next August for Virgin flights and 3 bedroom villa for 2 weeks from Co op travel at Southern Dunes for £4900. The Virgin website is quoting flights and villa AOA at £5700 for 2 adults and 3 children aged 12,9 and 7. Does anyone know what my chances are of Virgin price matching this or is it a good deal and should book through the coop. Has anyone managed it

I've never managed it with Virgin Holidays.

Virgin Cruises though were totally different and they undercut my best price for my Med Cruise next year!

I'm not sure if they will price match, but we stayed at a 3 bedroom villa at Southern Dunes last year, and booked through Total Florida / Charter Travel who were by far the cheapest. I did a lot of searching for the best deal, and no-one else came close.
Not sure if you have been before, but we loved it there

Think travel city direct might if they come out cheaper they fly virgin I asked them once to price match the Disney website and they said they would but they were cheaper anyway

Definitely try Travel City Direct if you haven't.

As they're owned by Virgin, they offer pretty much the same things, but are considerably cheaper.

For example, we're doing 11 nights at the Yacht Club next summer... Exactly the same room, same flights, same dates.... and Travel City Direct were just over £1,000.00 cheaper!
