Congratulations on your marriage. :thumbsup2 Enjoying your reviews so far and looking forward to more.

Ohh! Can I join in? I can't wait to read more. Congrats on your wedding and long honeymoon.

Loving your review! I have no idea how people eat that much food on deluxe:confused3 We always do just the regular dining plan and pay for a few TS OOP which is fine and we always have CS and snack credits left over at the end of our trip.

Totally subscribing! DBF and I are going in August (His first time), so I'm always interested in how other couples view the restaurants!

Great update and pics. Sorry that the service was not a 10. But at least the food was. I hear the dessert is fab-u-lous.

Great reviews! We love Ohana too. DH and I also had the LupaLupa and boy was that drink STRONG! I'm not a big drinker but DH drinks more than I do and he even thought it was a powerful drink.

Great reviews! 18 days??? WOW! :worship:

Congrats on your wedding! Can't wait to read more.

Congrats on your marriage.
Hubby and I honeymooned in 85 at Disney World. Not as extravagant though, we stayed at the campground in a van, lol. It was magical to us though.
We are going in August for a week and getting the DDP for the first time and can't wait. We are AP holders so usually pay for our meals and don't go crazy. This time we have ressies at some new places and some favorites.
Can't wait to read all of your reports because some of them are ones that we will be using.
Keep it coming!

First of all :welcome: TO ALL!!! Sorry i'm not going to answer everyone's post, but I appreciate everyone tuning in!!!! Thank you and I hope the reviews make you proud!!!

Congrats on your marriage! I can't wait to read your reviews!

I live in NC, too, in the Raleigh area. We're driving down in September. Do you mind me asking where you live and how long your drive was? We're leaving at midnight and I want to made a late breakfast/early lunch upon arrival.

Thanks!

We live in the Triad and it took us 9 hrs 15 min to get there. On the way to Disney we left at midnight and on our way back to NC we left at 11:30 am and it still took us around the time. 95 really never has too much traffic ( only in the south) so it was smooth sailing. You can definitely get an early breakfast in.

Congratulations! Lucky you to be able to stay that long and you are already going back, wish I could do that if I could leave my kids at home. Waiting to read more.

The reason we are able to go twice is bc my DH has lots of vaca days from work and im still in college. But, im sure as soon as i get a big girl job, these days will be over!!! Thanks for tuning in!!

Great dinner at 'Ohana - I would love to eat there one day.

I'm telling you, you should!!! Totally worth it!! This is one dining experience that is on our repeat list!

"Also because we had not checked in yet this was OPP so we just got sandwiches."

Was the not checked in just by choice? I know you can't go to the room until about 3-4, but can't you get your key cards before then? Great reviews by the way, and holy cow eighteen days! I love food, but I don't think I could do that.

This was by choice but we also knew that we were doing a lot of dining this trip and would need to do OPP, so it wasn't a big deal for us.

I was wondering the same thing. Also how many meals did you pay for OOP?
I'm doing deluxe when we go in August. Figured since I don't like the CS, I would rather have a TS breakfast every day as well as the 2TS places.

I'm not sure of how many CS we did OPP but we did 6 TS OPP(i think), because we did a lot of signature restuarants. We thought about deluxe but knew it would be too much food for us, so we were up for paying OPP.

Ok so I was drooling just at the title of your review! You guys are too cute and congrats!

Thanks for joining especially because i have definitely drooled over your reviews!!

The food looks good. That is what I am worrying about, where to put the food? I am not eating there this time but probably next. Seems like service isn't that great any where at Disney any more.

Well actually we only had service issues one other time, everything else was great!! it was just a shame that this happened at our first TS. oh well.

Congrats on your marriage.

So DH and I woke up early to do EMH at Hollywood Studios so we could ride TSM ( one of our FAV rides!!!) and some of our other favorite rides. This was our very first EMH and it was crazier than we ever thought it would be. We really weren't expecting to wait in lines but that was not the case. So we got a FP for TSM bc the wait was already long and then waited a short time for TOT and RRC. After we rode the rides, and walked around One man's dream we decided to do the prince Caspian (ride?). Side note: this was stupid and a waste of time, it was about the behind the scenes and making of the movie but it was boring and you had to stand the entire time. I will never be doing that one again, it was not that interesting. So after that we had a little time to kill, so we saw that Pluto and Goofy were around. We took pictures with them and then it did what Florida does best... It POURED, shocker. I had forgotten to bring the umbrella (cuz I don't do ponchos:confused3), but luckly we were close to shelter bc i also don't like to get wet. So we waited under Mickey's hat until it slowed down, which it did after only 5 min.

We then walked our way to 50's Prime Time Cafe, which was a new dining experience to us this year.:cloud9:

Our ADR was for noon and we checked in at 11:55. We had to wait for about 5 min and then were seated with Cousin Mike as our waitor. Here's the menus.

I got a coke float to drink... so yummy

DH got a vanilla MS... loves these!!!

*Note we were not on the DDP for this one so we got an appetizer... Onion rings, which were so crispy and FILLING!!!
2009_071620080254.jpg

Right after we finished with our O rings our entrees came out... I got Cousin Eric's Chicken sandwich. It was good, a typical grilled chicken sandwich with BBQ sauce on it and fries. I was not able to finish it bc it was a huge piece.

DH got Aunt Liz's Fried chicken!! This was such a huge portion but DH finished it like a trooper, i would not have been able to do it! The chicken was so juicy and tender I wish i had gotten that for my entree!! DH also said that the vegies were good and the mashed tators were delicous. He was sure to finish everything on his plate bc he didn't want to be called out. He doesn't really like to have attention brought to him.

We looked at the dessert menu ( so cute) but had no more room left in our guts for dessert!:sad2:

Overall: Loved it all. Service was great. Atmosphere great. Decor so cute. Food yummy, but huge portions. All in all this was a great dining experience. I really enjoyed the theme and thank goodness DH or i didn't get called out!!We were in and out in 40 min but not rushed at all. We were very satisfied with everything. Definitely a keeper!

Rating: 9.75!!! GREAT!!!:banana::banana::banana:
