Bare Minerals foundation, etc.....

For those of you that use this makeup (because I know several of you do!) What is the key to applying it? I haven't purchased it yet but am thinking I might. I keep reading and the key to loving it or hating is how you apply it and getting the proper technique down. So, for those of you that use it, what's the proper way to apply it as opposed to the wrong way?

The trick-- which they say takes practice-- is "loading the brush" with the powder and "buffing" it into your skin. You sort of go in circlular motions instead of how you might put loose powder on over your foundation. I am not sure if this helps or not. I find it amazingly simple but maybe I look bad! I really like Bare Minerals. I wearing it as I type this. )

Good luck if you decide to try it. Again, my pick is to order from QVC as their return policy is tops if you try it & decide it isn't for you.

How do you "load" the brush?

Oh sorry. You are loading it with the powder. so you dip it in the powder, use the lid to swirl the brush around in, (which "loads" the brush with the product) and then swirl it on your face.
